Worried about your child's eating, growth or nutrition?
I’m Vandna Patel, a Registered Dietitian and Paediatric Nutrition Specialist with NHS clinical experience in paediatric gastroenterology and nutrition support.
I can support with fussy eating, weaning, food allergies, coeliac disease, gastrointestinal symptoms, faltering growth and dietary restrictions.
Most consultations can take place online, making it easier to access specialist support wherever you are. For families in London, some services may also be available in person.
Paediatric Dietetic Support for London Families
Every child is different, and nutrition advice shouldn't be one-size-fits-all!
I can support families with a range of paediatric nutrition and feeding concerns, including:
Nutritional concerns following dietary restrictions
We'll take the time to understand your child's individual needs, your concerns and what life looks like for your family.
Together, we'll work towards practical changes that feel achievable rather than adding more pressure around food.
Online Paediatric Dietetic Consultations in London
You don't need to travel across London to access specialist paediatric dietetic support.
Online consultations allow us to talk from the comfort of your own home, which can be particularly helpful when you're already juggling work, school, nursery and family life.
During your consultation, we can discuss your child's:
Current diet and eating patterns
Growth and nutritional needs
Feeding or eating difficulties
Medical and dietary history
Food allergies or dietary restrictions
Mealtimes and family routines
Any concerns you have about their nutrition
We'll then work together to develop a personalised plan based on your child's needs.
In-Person Supermarket Nutrition Support in London
(subject to availability and location)
Sometimes you need more than advice over a video call.
If you're struggling to know which foods to choose, understand food labels or find suitable products for your child, an in-person supermarket nutrition shopping session may be helpful.
We'll look at real products together and talk through:
Reading food labels | Learn how to identify ingredients, allergens and nutritional information with greater confidence.
Comparing products | We'll compare suitable products and discuss the differences between them.
Finding suitable alternatives | If your child has a food allergy, intolerance or dietary restriction, we can explore practical alternatives that fit your family's needs.
Making shopping easier | Rather than feeling overwhelmed by conflicting information on food packaging, you'll learn practical strategies you can use when shopping independently.
You may have been wondering:
“Is my child's diet actually balanced?”
“They're eating such a small range of foods — should I be worried?”
“How can I make sure they're getting enough nutrients?”
“What can I give my child instead of the foods they're allergic to?”
“I'm worried about their growth.”
“Mealtimes have become stressful.”
“I've received so much conflicting advice that I don't know what to do.”
You don't have to work it all out on your own.
As a Registered Dietitian specialising in paediatric nutrition, I can help you understand what's important, what may need attention and what practical steps you can take.
WHAT CAN A PAEDIATRIC DIETITIAN HELP WITH?
Personalised support | Every consultation is tailored to your child, your family and your individual concerns.
Evidence-based advice | I'll help you make sense of nutrition information using evidence-based dietetic practice.
Practical strategies | The aim isn't to give you a long list of rules. It's to find realistic changes that can work within your everyday life.
A family-centred approach | Food affects the whole family. We'll consider your child's needs alongside your routines, preferences and circumstances.
No judgement | There is no perfect diet and no perfect parent. My aim is to help you feel informed, reassured and confident.
